This release is about finding things quickly and keeping your account secure. The monitors list gets proper filtering, accounts get two-factor authentication, and the monitors page has been redesigned around folders.

New

Advanced filtering on the monitors list

Filter your monitors by name, URL, tag, folder, status, type and check frequency, and combine those filters into AND/OR groups when you need something precise. Results update as you type, and your filters are part of the page address, so you can copy the URL and send a teammate the exact same view.

Two-factor authentication

Protect your ChangeTower account with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator or 1Password. Turn it on in your account settings, and you will be asked for a code the next time you sign in.

Custom check schedules when importing

Importing monitors in bulk? You can now set the check schedule as part of the import, instead of creating everything on the default frequency and editing it afterwards.

Create monitors from your AI assistant

AI assistants connected to ChangeTower can now create monitors, placing them directly into a folder, look up the details of an existing monitor, and browse your folders. Previously they could only read lists.

Improved

A redesigned monitors page, with folders front and centre

The monitors page now has a folder sidebar, so your structure is visible at a glance. You can create a folder without leaving the page, and a folder that still contains monitors can no longer be deleted by accident.

A smoother, safer sign-in

Signing in now asks for your email address first, then shows the right way in for that account, password or single sign-on. The password reset flow arrives prefilled, and no longer reveals whether an email address has a ChangeTower account.

Cleaner, more reliable checks

Monitors can now skip unnecessary requests while a page loads, such as tracking scripts and ad calls, which makes captures cleaner and checks faster. We have also laid the groundwork for monitoring sites that are particularly restrictive about automated visitors.

Faster all round

The web app loads noticeably faster, and change notification emails are generated and sent more quickly.

Fixed

  • Filters no longer carry over when you switch between workspaces.
  • AI monitor explanations now always come back in English, whatever language the monitored page is written in.
  • Assorted polish, including folder picker sizing during import and empty-state fixes on the monitors list.
