Help teams find out before it costs them.

ChangeTower was founded in Chicago and works remotely. We build website change monitoring for compliance, marketing and competitive intelligence teams.

A small team, and you can see the whole of it.

There is no layer between the work and the customer here, which is the main thing worth knowing before you apply.

Close to the customer

What you ship this month is in front of paying teams the same month, and you hear back about it directly rather than through a summary of a summary.

Remote, with real overlap

We work remotely and keep a few hours of overlap with US business hours, so a decision happens in a conversation instead of a queue of comments.

Users who are precise

Compliance officers, agency leads and analysts are exact about what they are trying to catch. That specificity is the best part of the job, and it shapes the roadmap.

We are hiring for one role right now.

It is the one below. If it is not yours and you think you should be here anyway, the last section on this page is for you.

About the role

Accounts rarely leave because the product stopped working. They leave because nobody helped them get past the first handful of monitored pages, so the alerts never reached the person who needed them and the tool quietly stopped being opened.

This role owns that stretch: getting new accounts set up properly, keeping existing ones healthy, and turning the teams who already rely on us into teams who need more seats and more pages. The team is small, so you will help write the playbook rather than inherit one.

What you will do

  • Onboard new accounts. Get the first set of pages monitored, alerts routed to the right people and folders, and the team actually using it in the first week rather than the third month.
  • Run a book of accounts. Regular check-ins, and enough attention to know which quiet accounts are quiet because they are happy and which are quiet because nobody has logged in since March.
  • Own renewals and expansion. Find the cases for more pages, more seats, or a second workspace for another client or department, and make them before the renewal conversation, not during it.
  • Carry what you hear back to product. Collect what customers are actually trying to catch and bring it back in a form the team can act on.
  • Work alongside support on the accounts that need more than a ticket, including the technical ones.
  • Keep the CRM honest, so renewal dates and forecasts mean something to everyone else.

What we are looking for

  • Two or more years in account management, customer success, or a similar post-sale role at a B2B software company.
  • Comfortable on a call with a compliance officer, a marketing lead and someone from IT at the same time, all of whom want different things from the same tool.
  • Technically curious. You do not need to write code, but you should be willing to work out why a page behind a login is not being captured, and then explain it plainly to the person who asked.
  • Writing a customer will read to the end.
  • Organised without being reminded. A book of accounts falls apart quietly, and only when nobody is keeping it.
  • Available for US business hours.

Useful, not required

  • You have worked with compliance, legal, agency or competitive intelligence teams before, and know how they buy.
  • You have carried a renewal or expansion number.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, or the tools that sit next to them.

How to apply

Send a CV and a short note to [email protected] with Account Manager in the subject line. In the note, tell us about an account you kept that you were expected to lose, or one you lost that you should have kept. Either answer is fine. We are interested in how you read the account.

Compensation is discussed early, in the first conversation.
