Keyword Monitoring
Get Alerted the Moment a Keyword Appears or Disappears
Tell ChangeTower which words and phrases matter to your team. We check for them on every run and alert you the moment one is added to a page — or quietly removed from it.

No selectors to write and no scripts to maintain. Add a page, list the words you care about, and ChangeTower watches for them on every check.
Add a page and your keywords
Paste any URL, then enter the words and phrases you want tracked: product names, legal terms, competitor names, or risk language.
ChangeTower checks every term
On every check it renders the page the way a person sees it and searches the visible copy for each keyword on your list.
Get alerted on added or removed
You get the keyword that changed, the direction it moved, and the line it sat in, by email, Slack, or Teams.
Every keyword change, caught.
A page can be rewritten a dozen ways and still say the same thing. Track the words that actually carry the risk, and skip the rest of the diff.
Added & Removed Triggers
Get alerted when a tracked keyword appears on a page, when it disappears, or both. A term going missing is often the more telling signal.
Words & Exact Phrases
Track a single word or a full phrase such as “material adverse change.” Matching ignores capitalization, so you catch every way the term is written.
A Keyword List Per Page
Every monitored page carries its own list. Watch a regulator page for enforcement language and a competitor page for pricing terms, from one dashboard.
Context With Every Alert
Each alert names the keyword and shows the sentence around it, so you can judge whether it matters before you open the page.
Which keyword changed, and where it sits.
You skip the full-page diff. The alert names the term, the direction it moved, and the line it appeared in.
How teams put keyword monitoring to work.
Competitive Intelligence
Track pricing and positioning terms on competitor pages. When “free trial” disappears or “enterprise” shows up, you know the motion changed before the announcement does.
Compliance & Legal
Watch regulator and vendor pages for clause language your policy team has to review. Every hit is timestamped, so the record doubles as an audit trail.
Brand & Reputation
Follow your brand, product, and executive names across partner, press, and review pages. Know when a mention is added, and when one quietly comes down.
Vendor & Risk Oversight
Monitor status pages, security bulletins, and supplier sites for terms like “breach,” “recall,” or “discontinued,” and route each hit to the team that owns it.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I get alerted when a keyword is removed, not just added?
Yes. Each keyword can trigger when it appears on the page, when it disappears, or both. A term going missing is often the more useful signal: a guarantee dropped, a product retired, a clause quietly pulled.
Do keywords have to match exactly?
Matching ignores capitalization, so “Enterprise” and “enterprise” both count as a hit. You can track single words or full phrases, which is the better choice when a common word would otherwise fire on every page.
How quickly will I know when a keyword changes?
As often as every 15 minutes, depending on your plan. When a tracked term is added or removed, you get the keyword, the direction, and the line it appeared in by email, Slack, or Teams.
Can I track different keywords on different pages?
Yes. Every monitor carries its own keyword list, schedule, and notification settings, so a regulator page and a competitor pricing page can watch completely different terms in the same workspace.
Will I hear about every other edit to the page?
No. With keyword monitoring you only hear about your terms. A rewritten headline, a rotating banner, or a new timestamp stays out of your inbox unless it moves one of the words you asked us to watch.
Can I see when a keyword was first added or last seen?
Yes. Every check is stored as a timestamped snapshot, so you can open any point in the monitor’s history, compare two versions side by side, and export the record as an audit trail.
