Competitive Monitoring (v1)
Know What Competitors Changed Before Anyone Else
ChangeTower watches every page a competitor's move shows up on first, and tells you what changed in plain language, with a dated snapshot behind it.
✓ No credit card · First monitor live in 5 minutes
Every page here is under a monitor: checked on your schedule, a dated snapshot each time, a plain-language summary of what changed.
The screenshot stored on that check: the page as a visitor saw it, kept with its HTML and never edited.
Detection is content-level: ChangeTower reads the words and the HTML. The screenshot is a record of the page, not compared against anything.
Every competitor page in one place: pricing, launches, people, and press. Open a row for what changed and how the page looked.
AI has turned competitive tracking into an exponential problem.
Manual tracking means remembering to look, and remembering what the page said last time. ChangeTower replaces both with pages that check themselves and report what moved.

Pages that check themselvesOne folder per competitor, however many you watch.
Organize monitors into folders: one per competitor, market, or client. They grow without becoming a pile.
Everything about a rival, in one place.
A competitor's whole footprint in one folder: pricing, product, newsroom, team, careers. Open it to see the state of play.
One folder per competitor. Agencies keep one per client, archives kept apart.
What did their site say in March?
A snapshot is stored on every check, changed or not. Their sites become a record you can look back through.
Look it up instead of remembering it.
Pick a page, filter to a date, open the snapshot. Launch reviews and pricing debates get answered from the record.
From the competitor pricing alert to the answer your team needed.

Found a page worth watching? Monitor it right there.
Competitive intel starts wherever you're browsing: a press release, a pricing page, a job listing. The ChangeTower browser extension turns it into a monitor.
From stumbled-upon to monitored, before you close the tab.
You're reading a competitor's press release. Click the icon, say what to watch for, and the page joins your monitors.
The round will fund a new Dublin office and a doubling of the go-to-market team over the next year. Northwind says the investment accelerates its push into the European mid-market.

Stumble on it, monitor it. The page joins your monitors, archived from its next check.
Plus an in-app activity stream: everything captured and changed, in one place.
Built for the signals competitive teams track.

Questions competitive teams ask first.
How does competitor website monitoring work?
You name the competitor pages that matter, from pricing and product to newsrooms, team pages and careers, and ChangeTower checks each one on the schedule you set. Every check stores a dated snapshot, and the AI reports what moved in plain language.
What is a snapshot, and how long is it kept?
A dated capture of a page: the rendered page and the HTML behind it, stored on every scheduled check, changed or not. The precise timestamp turns "I think their pricing was different" into a record you can open.
Which competitor pages can ChangeTower monitor?
No. Pricing is one signal of many: changelogs and product pages for launches, newsrooms for acquisitions and funding, about and team pages for leadership changes and departures, careers for hiring, pricing pages for discounts and offers, partner directories for integrations. If it's on a page, a monitor can watch it.
Can I see what a competitor's page said months ago?
Yes. That's what the archive is for. Open the page's snapshot list, filter to the date range, open the day you need, and export it as a PDF or spreadsheet report.
How does domain scanning work?
Give ChangeTower the root URL and set a cadence: weekly, biweekly, or monthly. Each run crawls the domain's public pages, follows every internal link, and returns the full page list, flagging what's new since the last run. It can also look for keywords. You then choose which pages to monitor, and at what cadence.
Will I get too many alerts?
No. That's the point of the AI layer. Describe what matters in plain language: "alert me when prices, plans or feature claims change, ignore blog posts and typo fixes". Every change is classified before it reaches a channel. Minor tweaks are archived without an alert: the record stays complete, the channel quiet.
Can I watch just the pricing table and ignore the rest of the page?
Yes. Selective monitoring watches one element or section, such as the plan table, a headline claim, or a feature list, and ignores the rest. Unrelated edits never reach you.
How many competitors or brands can we track?
Yes. Monitor as many domains as your plan covers, in folders: one per competitor, market, or client. Finding a record later is a filter, not a search. Agencies keep each client's archives apart.
Can you tell me when a competitor removes something, not just when they add it?
Yes, and it's often the sharper signal. Tell ChangeTower what should be present, and it alerts you when one goes missing: a plan removed, a claim dropped, an integration delisted, a name gone from the team page.
What kinds of pages can you monitor?
Any page reachable by URL: pricing, product pages, changelogs, docs, careers, newsrooms, review sites, forums, and message boards. Watch one element, a full page, or a whole domain, at the frequency you set.
How often are competitor pages checked?
You set the frequency per monitor. Daily suits most competitor pages, weekly covers the long tail, and checks can run more often on the pages where timing matters, such as pricing during a launch.
Where do competitor alerts get sent?
Email, Slack or Microsoft Teams. Alerts route by folder, so pricing moves reach the product and sales teams while press announcements reach comms.
Can you monitor competitor pages behind a login or a cookie banner?
Yes. Record the steps to reach the page once, including the sign-in or the banner dismissal, and ChangeTower replays them before every check.
How is this different from Google Alerts?
Google Alerts tells you when something is published about a competitor, if it is indexed. ChangeTower watches the competitor pages themselves, including pricing and product pages that are never announced anywhere, and tells you exactly what changed on them.
Stop hearing about competitor moves secondhand.
Put every competitor page under a monitor and start a dated record today. First monitor live in under 5 minutes.
